Amanda Renfro, MSN, RN, AGPCNP-BC, is a certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner serving patients at Lynx Healthcare, which has locations in Farmington and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Amanda completed both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington, focusing on adult-gerontology primary care during her master’s degree program. Amanda then worked at various health care facilities across the state of Texas, including the Baylor Regional Medical Center Grapevine, Forest Park Medical Center Southlake, Baylor Medical Center at Trophy Club, Methodist Southlake Hospital, and Wise Health Surgical Hospital at Parkway. Her extensive experience at these health facilities provides her with the expertise and skill to care for diverse patient populations.
Amanda eventually moved to New Mexico and worked with the Matrix Medical Network in Albuquerque before joining the team at Lynx Healthcare. She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support, and is licensed to practice in both Texas and New Mexico. Amanda stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in her field as a member of the New Mexico Nurse Practitioner Council.
